Need something to do this school holidays? This fantastic pottery and clay school holiday workshop will get all of those budding young ceramists to tap into their imaginations and create fairies and angels with character.


This course includes:

  • 1kg of clay, use of all tools, coloured slip (like a glaze), firing of your unique, hand-made piece
  • Morning tea
  • Firing will be done once the kiln is full (you'll be notified within a few weeks when your incredible creation can be collected!)
Session times:  10:00 am - 1:00pm (no late arrival/pick-up please)
Date:  Tuesday 27 June and Tuesday 4 July
Group sizes:  Limited to 8 per session
Ages:  10 to 15 years old (no adults allowed - but there are some great coffee shops nearby)


Class notes 

  • Jude has a Queensland Government Working With Children Blue Card and has held many holiday workshops before. Please note we have a resident chicken, Jackie O, who roams freely around the grounds and classroom
  • Morning tea is provided such as sausage rolls, pies and power/energy balls. If the attending child has any allergies, please contact us before their class to let us know.  If you child has special dietary requirements, please feel free to bring any special foods with them to the class
  • Please bring your own water bottle
  • Wear old clothes and even bring an apron, you will get wonderfully messy
  • Tie long hair back to avoid getting clay in your hair 
  • Remove jewellery as you'll be working with your hands... and clay!
  • Must wear closed-toe, comfortable shoes
  • Your pieces will be dishwasher, microwave, ovenproof and food safe.
*Please note that while we love imperfections (wabi-sabi) we cannot be held responsible for any breakages of your pieces that happen as a result of the kiln firing. This is an organic, creative process and while all and every care is taken, there are no guarantees of a set result/outcome of your pieces.
