Pottery Class - Joined Pieces
Pottery Class - Joined Pieces
Join this class to create your very own piece of joined artwork to delight your friends, family - or just yourself in achieving so many possibilities with a slab of clay and a mould to make two identical pieces joined and created into so many delights.
Over 3 hours, we'll show you how to hand build a gorgeous creation that you can adapt with your own personality. We can walk you through how to create a variety of shapes (there are SO many to choose from - take a look at the photo's) and adornments, all to create your very own unique piece.
You'll be working with 'slips', which are coloured clays, to decorate your pieces and you can also work with stencils and textures etc. etc.
This class is a maximum of 8 people, so you'll be assured of access to Jude's expertise over the duration of the 3 hour class.
You'll walk away with a salt pig, birdfeeder or nest, animal urn, pumpkin, jam server, vase, lidded container, soothing sphere, piggy banks, salt and pepper shakers etc. etc. whatever takes your fancy that can be formed from a sphere or egg shape. If you are interested in achieving any of these, prior notice is required with a photograph of something similar so we can be prepared and or let you know if possible with the equipment available. There are an enormous number of items that can be achieved from joining together two identical shapes
Your creation will be glaze fired to 12020 * C Stoneware and ready for collection a few weeks after your class - you'll be notified as soon as it's ready!
This is the ideal class to repeat over and over again, so many items that you can enjoy creating and painting.
